COURSE DESCRIPTION
The application of eyelash extensions is a highly technical and meticulous process requiring well-trained estheticians and cosmetologists to perform the procedure. We place an emphasis on maintaining the health, safety and satisfaction of your clients. Our goal is to prepare you to become a highly successful and skilled eyelash extension professional. Our certified trainers will assist you through the entire training process as we guide you through this course.

Lash Extension Regular | Cost: $1,000 + $450 for required extension kit ($450 deposit due at registration)

Lash Extension Volume | Cost: $1,000 + $300 for required extension kit ($300 deposit due at registration)

Registration must be completed TWO WEEK prior to the beginning of any AMA course.

In the United States, most states DO require all eyelash extension professionals to be a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist. AMA LLC WILL NOT train or certify an individual who does not meet these requirements.

Knowledge of your state requirements is YOUR responsibility.

You are required to be a lash extensionist before becoming a brow extensionist. Must provide cosmetology or esthetic license prior to enrolling in the course.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and is required at the time of registration. The remainder of the balance for the course if due the day of the course.

Course Exam Details
After completion of this course, students are required to complete no less than 4 full sets of practice lashes on different models. It's recommended that students practice on non-paying friends/models for several weeks to several months, before attempting to take the 3-hour certification exam.
3 HOUR CERTIFICATION EXAM at the end of each training day
During the exam, you are required to achieve the following on ALL models:

At least 60 lashes per eye.

Eyelashes placed evenly with no large uneven spaces.
-
No clumps of adhesive in the lashes.
-
No adhesive on the client’s skin.
-
No 2 eyelashes stuck together.

Lashes curling in the right direction.
-
Proper tool handling, client safety, and appropriate hygiene.

Application techniques through hands-on exercises:

How to correctly isolate a natural eyelash and apply an eyelash extension using the place & release technique.

How to use the right amount of adhesive for a seamless, secure, and clump-free bond.
-
How to measure the natural eyelash to select the correct extension thickness, length, and curvature.
-
How to design an application for different eye shapes.
-
How to remove eyelash extensions without damaging natural eyelashes.
